I'm so excited that you all had a fabulous time at today's retreat! I can't wait to talk ALL about it on Monday!

Enjoy your weekend, but first, here's a quick list of items to review for Tuesday's exam:

Units of Study

Liturgical Year (know a few holy days of obligation and their meaning)
The Advent and Christmas Sections (back of your book)
Chapter 7
Chapter 8
Chapter 9

The Bible Stories from Luke Ch.1, 2, and the parts of 3 and 4 that we've read
Jesus’ Consecration
Names of biblical people and their relationships to Jesus
All the colors of the Liturgical calendar and order of year
The different holidays (Immaculate Conception)
What do you call the Incarnation?
Know story of John the Baptist
Put Jesus’ life events in order beginning from early prophecies, to birth, to the Temptation in the Desert)
What did Jesus say when He was found in the Temple?
What was Zechariah’s job?
What is the difference between the four Gospels and how do they begin?
Understand the messages that each bible story leaves behind to the modern world: Jesus' temptation, Announcement of Birth of John, Angels announcing Jesus' birth to the poor, low shepherds, Jesus' Baptism, Annunciation to Mary.
*** Refresh your memory by reading the bible stories, reviewing the past worksheets, and studying all highlighted material and notes. Reviewing past exams is a good idea, but should NOT be the only means of reviewing.

Hi Mrs Beadel! I just wanted to know, when you said the different holidays did you mean holy days of obligation? And also did you give us back the tests for Chapter 8 and 9? I can't find them. Thank you for giving us this review. It's a big help! :)

Lucy, I don't think you have to study the Infancy Narratives in Matthew. You need to know them in Luke. They have basically the same information so I would go over it just in case. I hope this helps you!
